Having customers leave reviews on Google is an excellent way to show your the high level of service your business provides and can help separate you from your competition. Google displays your average review score alongside your listings on their search engine so it can be a great way to encourage browsers to click on your listing.
You can also use this review system to show how well you handle customer complaints as it allows you to respond to all reviews left on your page. Every review left should be viewed as an opportunity to demonstrate the amazing customer service your business provides.
Here is a simple step by step guide for leaving a business review on Google.
Sign In/Create your Google Account
Go to www.google.co.uk
From their click the sign in button in the top right corner of the screen
This screen will then appear
If you already have a Google account then enter your details and log in. If not then click the create account option to create your Google account.
When you click create account you will be shown the following screen.
Fill in the information to create your Google Account.
Once your account is created you will be taken to Gmail. This is the email inbox for the Google account that you have just created.
Enter www.google.co.uk into the search bar at the top of the screen.
Then use the Google Search Bar to find the company you would like to review and press enter.
The business you are looking for should then appear at the top of the screen and also at the right hand side like in the image below.
From here you can click on the write a review button and this screen will appear.
Then give a star rating for the business and also a description of the service. Once you are done press publish and the review will be live.
You will be notified via Gmail if the business respond to your review.
